Adaptations of plants that grow in hilly areas
Trees are conical with straight and tall trunks. The
sloping shape of trees allows the snow to slip off from
the branches easily.
The leaves are needle-shaped, with a thick coating and
few stomata. These leaves are waterproof and allow Pine tree

Spruce, pine, fir, deodar and cedar are trees that grow
in hilly areas.

– Evergreen trees and Deciduous trees.
